Great food at reasonable prices. I discovered this local restaurant back in August and have been here for 4 times now. Inside the restaurant is quite spacious so even when I came during busy lunch time, seats were always available. Their Udon bowls are simple but flavourful. I always make sure to order one when I visited. The Gyu Suki Nabe hot pot is also very delicious. A hot pot dish that suitable for 1 person. Their eel rice is very good as well. The drinks are ok. I usually order the yuzu/lychee soda. I’ve only tried the Mochi dessert here but didn’t like it as it’s a bit too sweet for me. The service and the staffs are good. They ask what you want, serve and go. Not chatty/ small talk. The payment process is a bit slow, sometimes it takes more than 5mins to get my bills but maybe because they’re understaffed as I saw the person who is in charge of payment also serve in the kitchen/ serving the foods. Overall, I have great experience with Nishikian and would recommend you guys to give it a try.

This is my second time visiting, first time I actually really liked the food but they forgot one of the dishes, the deep fried oyster one. Second time, we ordered a variety of dishes and was very appealing when it came out. But the taste was mediocre, the ox tongue was very chewy and inedible. The new prawn sushi was the best dish we ordered, other than that the vibes were better than the food, unfortunately. Worth a trip if you want to give it a try though

Been years since I came here, and stopped by whilst we were in town. Glad to see the food is as wonderful as ever. Ordered a mixture of dishes to share with my partner and they were all delicious. A good word of warning though...One can easily lose track of the number of dishes they have ordered since everything was yummy. Great job K-san and the team, keep up the good work!

Tasty Japanese food with a great ambience and vibes. A fantastic variety of authentic Japanese dishes here, all efficiently placed into an ipad ordering system at each table. Highly recommend the sashimi, as this will melt in your mouth. Agedashi tofu, udon noodles and okonomiyaki were amazing too. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!
